Building a premium enterprise identity for a niche IT startup from the ground up.
Yexle Limited is a niche IT services company specialising in Appian platform delivery and AI/ML solutions. Despite strong technical credentials, the company had no visual identity. The goal was to create a comprehensive brand system that felt credible to enterprise clients, flexible enough for co-branding with partners like Appian and ElectrifAi, and premium enough to stand alongside established IT brands — all within startup constraints.
No brand baseline:
Yexle was a startup with zero visual presence. Every design decision had to be made from scratch — logo, color, type, tone, and imagery — without an existing identity to iterate on.
Premium perception on a startup budget:
The brand had to compete visually with enterprise IT players. Creating that sense of credibility required deliberate, disciplined design choices rather than expensive production resources.
Partner co-branding complexity:
Yexle needed to co-brand with partners like Appian and ElectrifAi without losing brand dominance. Rules for spacing, alignment, and visual hierarchy had to be defined clearly and practically.
Scalable imagery direction:
With no dedicated photography, clear image guidelines were needed to keep visual communication consistent across teams and contexts — defining not just what to use, but what to avoid.
The goal was to create a simple, modern wordmark that communicated the essence of Coforge without relying on abstract symbols or complex iconography. The identity needed to work across digital and print, scale from a business card to a billboard, and feel distinctive enough to own in a competitive IT landscape. Most importantly, it had to make the meaning of the name visible — working together, two forces as one.
Establish a distinctive visual identity:
Create a logo and brand language that is instantly recognisable, scalable across print and digital, and built to last beyond early-stage growth.
Build a usable, complete system:
Go beyond a logo — deliver a living brandbook covering color, typography, spacing, icon use, imagery, and real-world application templates.
Enable team-wide consistency:
Equip any team member — designer or not — to apply the brand correctly across presentations, campaigns, and partner materials.
Support aggressive market entry:
Provide brand-in-action templates ready for immediate use — social, web, and presentations — so the company could go to market fast without sacrificing quality.
