Booster (Add-Air) module is an energy saving air handling system designed to provide positive pressure in the clean room when the main air handling system in not in use (Such as after work hours). Since less energy is required to operate than the main system, significant savings in electrical consumption can be realized. Use of Add-Air also extends the life of the main HEPA and Pre-filters, motor/ blowers and air compressors. In the event of an emergency, Add-Air can be used as a back up if the main system shuts down.
